***SOLD*** Lowell Thomas wore many hats during his long career: travelogue pioneer, professor of oratory at Princeton University, newsreel narrator for Twentieth Century Fox from 1935-52, professional globetrotter! In 1930, the year this book was printed, Thomas hosted the first televised news program. He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and is best known for making Lawrence of Arabia famous.
"India Land of the Black Pagoda" is one of Thomas' dozens of travelogues, and this 350 page edition was published in New York by The Century Co. It measures 9 3/4" x 7 3/4" and is in good condition.
It has been signed by the author.
