Oh those Indyish folk sure know how to make a fine Mess!

(In which she takes a quick break from her camera and the closet of goodies...)

Hey Montrealers! Free on Nov 6th? This Indyish talent extravaganza sounds like a FUN event!

(From their blog)

"In just under three weeks, we’ll be bringing you our Travel Mess! No, this doesn’t mean we’re going on the road and traveling around (even though that will happen one day!) But, we will bring travellers to you!

Featuring Music from:
* The Mittenstrings
* Peter Nevins
* Faye Blais
* Fm Hi Low
* Sappo & Gibbisito
* The Fundamentals

Taking the Stage with a portion of his hit one man show “Sahara Crossing” (Fringe Festival 2007, Centaur Theatre’s Wildside Festival 2009), Paul Van Dyck will bring you a taste of his travels from Africa!

After spending just under a year traveling abroad, Emmanuel Hessler and Katherine Macnaughton, bring you “India Discoveries” a short film about their travels to India.

Shot entirely on Super 8 Film, Nicolas Venne’s “Paris en Super 8″, gives you a beautiful shot film using the old to show you the present.

We’ll also be featuring paintings and drawings from Romanian artist Lucian Oprea!Everything is happening at Il Motore (179 Jean-Talon Ouest) at 8:30pm. $10 at the Door! We could always use volunteers! If you’re interested in helping out, just get in touch with Mess Producer Paul Aflalo, paul@indyish.com!"
