****SOLD****The label is Chantal Thomass, a famous high end French lingerie design house. She stopped making clothing in the 70s to focus on lingerie from what I understand.
It is above-the-knee in length, fully-lined, VERY VERY dark purple velvet with gorgeous gold embroidery.
I would say it was a size 0 by today's standards - super tiny. I'd have to have ribs removed in order to wear it, and it is too lovely to languish in the trove.
Rescue it, cherish it!
