****SOLD****This is a very pretty cut glass lidded butter dish, sold by Avon in 1973. The diamond & starburst pattern really catches the light beautifully.
Can be used for its original purpose, however I'd have a hard time keeping something so pretty tucked out of sight and would be tempted to use it to hold candy or small cookies.
