*SOLD* This very pretty vintage Japanese vase stands 11" tall and features two peacocks within a floral setting - I can identify chrysanthemums and calendula, and something that looks quite daisy-like as well. In Chinese and Japanese art, the peacock symbolizes beauty and dignity. This vase is lovely with, or without, the enhancement of flowers.

Is there anything on the bottom?
I can send you a photo - there's nothing in english, unfortunately, and I couldn't find the Japanese equivalent. I thought it might be Satsuma, but seems too heavy for porcelain - it is a very nice piece :) Want me to bring it over one evening this week?
