Postcards featuring mid-century motel rooms = treasure
Came across this set of postcards featuring motel rooms of the 1950s and 60s. Am entertaining visions of framing them in plastic cubes and building a fort. Oh yes.

Motels may well be the one constant in our society: From the looks of it, they really have not changed much over the past fifty years or so, have they?

The decor in this one is chic by today's standards, but I'm sure at the time it was as dated and tired as ours appear to us today ;)
