****SOLD*** I was flipping through a well-known glossy fashion mag when I came across an image that elicited a most unladylike snort from yers truly. A teenage wisp of a model, hair artfully teased into "careless beach" look, leans into the backseat of a car wearing not one but TWO huge chunky knit sweaters. Either of these sweaters would have taken up a third of my precious closet space. We're talking 3 sheep apiece. The sage fashion advice? "Layer two chunky knits for a surprisingly sexy look!" Or something along those ridiculous lines.
I do however love the look of a chunky knit and think that smart sweater vests are an easier way to bring this into one's wardrobe. They layer well over tees or dresses, AND you don't have to try to shove a giant knit sleeve through your winter coat. This one is a versatile grey, has a comfy funnel neck, snaps closed, and is slightly shorter in the back.
