Thank you!

A big thank you to all of this afternoon's Trovers!   Not only were you all very accomodating about keeping quiet so that my newly spayed Betty-cat could nap,  together you helped me raise enough to cover this month's ortho payment.   Enjoy your new treasures!

A particular thank you goes out to Catherine-of-the-rockabilly-dress, who brought two delightful gal pals from out of town for an inaugural Trove raid!

Soon to glitter in the Trove:
  • white enameled hibiscus earrings
  • vintage pink cameo pendant necklace
  • vintage black cameo pendant necklace
  • 1970s navy & white wrap dress, with lily of the valley print
  • silk/cotton blend pale blue wrap blouse by J. Crew
  • black & metallic blue lace top, handmade
  • crisp white and black striped skirt, Talbots
  • handmade Indian cotton blouse in pale cinnamon
  • delicate cream cotton shift dress
  • retro Canadian pottery duo

Glad to hear Betty-cat's Reign of Yowling is now over! Wishing her a speedy recovery (and you a good night's sleep).

Her Reign of Yowling is indeed over. She's been limping around the apartment (I guess the incision site is painful) and seems very happy to be home. S. has discovered that if he pets her head long enough, she blinks and falls asleep. Kitty voodoo, I sez, but I'm glad it works!

There's a ridge along the top of their head that contains a pressure point (right around the crown) that calms animals -- I've found it works with my pups back home, horses, and my little foster cats here! And T-Touch (aka Tellington Touch) was really helpful with my terminally ill dog a few years back. The fosters seem to like it too :)
